On 1st February, WES students and staff took part in the RSPC School's Birdwatch for the first time.

A couple of weeks beforehand, some new bird feeders were installed on the school site. A fantastic group of boys representing each year group from 7 to 11 counted birds in the school grounds and then on the area of the Heath bordering our grounds.

We saw and heard almost all of the birds on our list and many more, led by the very knowledgeable Mr Mangham. We hope to do more trips in the future.
