Welcome to William Ellis PE Department

At William Ellis we have an enthusiastic and experienced team with an in depth knowledge in a wide a range of sports.  If you have any queries please email the Head of PE at levitt@williamellis.camden.sch.uk 

Extra Curricular Clubs 

Extra curricular clubs are run before and after school. Clubs run on a half termly rotation to allow students to have as many opportunities to experience multiple spots throughout the year.  All after school clubs are free. There is no sign up, students just need to turn up to the changing room at the time of their club. See the extracurricular time-table below for more details.  

Facilities 

 On site, we have a purpose built sports hall, the school hall, fitness gym, and two hard court areas. We are also perfectly situated to make the most of the sports fields on Hampstead Heath. We also have use of the athletics track on Hampstead Heath for our annual sports day. 

Fixtures

Students who attend sports clubs may be selected to play for the school team. If your son is selected to represent they will be given a letter with all the information about the fixture on. Fixtures are normally played after the school day, but there may be some occasions that your son will miss lessons to play in a fixture. 

If your son is not selected for a game, they can still attend all the sports clubs available.
