Leadership builds character and develops a range of transferable skills. The ability to lead yourself and lead others is an essential part of personal development. The skills developed enable young people to prepare for adult life and to be responsible citizens.
At William Ellis School we continually look for meaningful opportunities for students to develop and practise leadership skills.
Our founder, William Ellis, believed that one of the core purposes of education and schools had was to help develop character and to teach young people how to conduct themselves for the happiness and wellbeing of individuals and society as a whole.
